The Opportunity
As our Business Support Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Boston office. Acting as one of the first points of contact for clients and visitors, you'll provide a wide range of administrative and reception support, helping to ensure the office runs efficiently and colleagues have the support they need to deliver an excellent service. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and organised individual to join a friendly and supportive team within a growing and ambitious firm.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing reception support and acting as a professional first point of contact for clients and visitors.
- Maintaining accurate client records, including updating and managing CRM systems.
- Assisting with new and existing client administration, ensuring records are kept up to date.
- Providing general administrative support to colleagues and fee-earning staff across the business.
- Managing and maintaining office supplies, including stationery and refreshments.
- Managing and updating internal workflow records to support efficient business operations.
- Chasing outstanding debts and following up on overdue payments in a professional manner.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in an administration or business support role would be advantageous, although we are open to candidates with the right attitude and potential to develop.
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience using CRM software is advantageous.
- An excellent telephone manner and strong customer service skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A smart and professional appearance.
- An understanding of confidentiality and the importance of discretion.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
