Hybrid Position reporting to the HR Director.

Job Purpose: As the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for creating, developing and managing a high performing Talent Acquisition team. You will be a strategic partner within the business and you will plan, develop and implement an effective Talent Acquisition strategy, ensuring the attraction, engagement and retention of top talent across all areas of the business.

Major Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Shape and lead a Talent Acquisition strategy that aligns with business objectives, anticipates future business needs, and drives proactive talent placement.
  • Challenge existing practices and drive continuous improvement.
  • Elevate the profile of the Talent Acquisition team to ensure they are the primary source of expertise for recruitment across the business.
  • Lead and develop the team to ensure all team members are achieving their full potential.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to support and deliver key business initiatives and projects related to talent and recruitment.
  • Develop and deliver a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with our Marketing team to design, plan and execute an employer brand strategy.
  • Lead the end-to-end agency process for agency workers and direct hires through agencies.
  • Optimise agency spend through effective cost control and analysis, while acting as the key liaison between external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Establish and embed consistent recruitment processes to ensure compliant, positive and successful recruitment.
  • Empower our colleagues to be brand ambassadors.
  • Maintain oversight of recruitment delivery and activity.
  • Design and develop measures for improving colleague retention.
  • Continuously review industry trends, market intelligence and emerging best practices.
  • Manage and resolve escalated queries from the wider business.
  • Establish and track meaningful metrics and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, transparency and actionable insight for the wider business.

Key Relationships: All senior and key stakeholders within the organisation, Contract Directors, People Team and wider HR team, Talent Acquisition team, Support office functions.

Job Dimensions: Lead and manage the day-to-day performance of the Talent Acquisition team. Drive strategic talent acquisition and retention initiatives aligned to business goals. Solve problems quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven to be reliable, committed and enthusiastic.

  • Able to demonstrate you will take on responsibility, suggest new ideas and adapt to change; capacity to recognise problems and take appropriate action.

About Us: What we offer: Salary of £45,000 to £50,000 per annum depending on experience, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Life assurance, Private medical cover.
