Due to winning a new contract, we are recruiting a Senior Site Supervisor to manage an onsite cleaning team at a busy eCommerce Depot. Please note you will need your own transport to get to this site.

Job Purpose

To supervise a team of multi-service operatives, ensuring service delivery standards and specifications are met within budget, leading to successful 'green' audits.

Major Accountabilities

  • Deliver onsite cleaning and waste duties, ensuring schedules and rotas are adhered to and standards are met.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to meet expectations within specifications.
  • Support the Site Manager with audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion, and resolve identified issues.
  • Complete and process all paperwork accurately, providing sign-off for tasks.
  • Ensure cleaning materials and machinery are available, functional, and used safely.
  • Complete periodic cleans to specification and timescale, signing off with the customer.
  • Perform decontamination cleans as requested.
  • Support schedule delivery as needed.
  • Ensure staff are in correct uniform and dressed appropriately.
  • Complete shift handover books and confirm staff attendance.
  • Conduct return-to-work interviews with team members.
  • Manage first-stage HR issues per company policies, valuing diversity.
  • Assist in recruitment and ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Ensure correct and timely staff payments following company procedures.
  • Train and induct staff on roles, standards, values, and policies.
  • Ensure staff adhere to health, safety, and COSHH policies.
  • Attend meetings and training as required.

Other Responsibilities

  • Maintain health, safety, and welfare for self and others, reporting incidents.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection laws.
  • Follow company policies on equal opportunities.
