About the Role

TC Facilities Management are looking for a Site Cleaning Manager who is ready to lead by example every day. This isn’t a purely office-based or purely supervisory role — you’ll be actively involved in cleaning work alongside your team, ensuring standards are met and maintained on site as much as you manage them.

  • This is a hands-on role — you will clean as well as manage.
  • You’ll support, train and develop your team, but also get stuck in with cleaning duties when needed.
  • Be proud of a clean, safe and compliant site and help deliver high standards every day.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience of managing a team
  • Sound knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH legislation

Cleaning & Operational Work

  • Actively participating in daily cleaning activities alongside your team.
  • Carrying out and overseeing periodic cleaning duties.
  • Supporting your team during busy periods or cover absences.

Team Leadership

  • Manage, train and develop cleaning operatives.
  • Ensure all staff in correct uniform and following procedures.
  • Support recruitment, induction and performance management.

Standards & Compliance

  • Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are ready, well-maintained and used safely.
  • Complete audits, paperwork and sign-offs as required.
  • Make sure health & safety and COSHH standards are upheld at all times.

Customer & Site Focus

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the customer.
  • Ensure agreed specifications and quality standards are consistently delivered.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys hands-on cleaning as well as team leadership.
  • Is organised, reliable and ready to take responsibility.
  • Has a practical approach to getting things done.
  • Can motivate others and lead by example.
  • Has a positive “can-do” attitude.

Previous cleaning or supervisory experience is desirable but not essential — your practical mindset and work ethic matter most.

What do you get from us?

  • Assistance Programme through Legal & General Spectrum Life – Physical, mental, and financial health support for all our colleagues through our ehub and phone.
  • Wagestream – Track and access your money as you earn it. Save as you earn and learn better spending habits.
