About the Role
TC Facilities Management is looking for an experienced and proactive Area Manager to join our team, overseeing a portfolio of sites across the North of England.
This is a key operational role, responsible for ensuring consistently high standards of service delivery, supporting and developing site-based teams, and maintaining strong relationships with our customers.
You will be a visible and hands-on leader, working closely with colleagues and clients to ensure operational performance, compliance and customer satisfaction are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular, structured site visits to monitor standards and service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers.
- Lead, coach and support site-based teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Manage rotas and review working hours to ensure effective budget control.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding and training across the area.
- Review audits, identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate actions.
- Ensure colleagues have the equipment, resources and support required to perform their roles effectively.
- Ensure all company policies, procedures and compliance requirements are consistently followed.
- Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement across the portfolio.
About You
We are looking for a confident and commercially aware manager who can lead people, manage multiple sites and build effective customer relationships.
You will have
- Previous management experience within cleaning, facilities management or a similar multi-site environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
- The confidence to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider teams.
- A full UK driving licence.
