We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of one of our most important national accounts. This is a high-profile role where you’ll manage the contract end-to-end, lead the team on the ground, and use performance data to make smart decisions that drive results.
We need someone who can combine operational expertise with a strategic mindset. You’ll monitor performance across multiple sites, spot trends in the data, and take action to ensure we deliver excellent service while meeting financial and compliance targets.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing all sites within the account and making sure operational standards are met
- Using performance data to identify trends, highlight issues, and drive improvements
- Leading, supporting, and coaching your Area Managers to deliver across KPIs
- Working closely with the Contract Director on reporting, planning, and key projects
- Ensuring P&L targets are achieved and cost efficiencies are identified
- Managing customer relationships, addressing escalations, and maintaining high satisfaction levels
- Conducting site visits to check standards, compliance, and safety
- Driving continuous improvement, sharing best practice, and embedding a culture of accountability
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing large-scale operations, ideally in cleaning or FM
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
- Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
- National travel required, including overnight stays
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate teams to deliver results
- Comfortable using Excel and reporting tools to monitor performance
