TC Facilities Management are looking for a proactive and experienced Area Manager to join our Cleaning division, supporting a diverse portfolio of multi-site, multi-contract locations across the North West and North Wales region. This role spans a broad geographical area, including major urban centres and surrounding towns, requiring strong planning, leadership and stakeholder management skills. You’ll be responsible for delivering consistent service standards, developing high-performing teams and maintaining excellent client relationships across your region. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role suited to an experienced operational manager who thrives in a varied environment.
What will you be doing?
- Lead and manage multiple cleaning teams across a varied portfolio of sites and contracts
- Drive consistent service delivery and high standards across all locations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and site visits
- Recruit, train, develop and motivate colleagues to achieve excellent results
- Monitor KPIs and operational performance, implementing improvements where required
- Carry out audits in line with company policies and ensure follow-up actions are completed
- Manage budgets, staffing hours and resources effectively across your area
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, statutory requirements and company processes
- Ensure sites are suitably equipped with materials and machinery
- Support wider regional operations and attend regular management meetings
