THE ACCOUNT
The role would be working on one of TBWA’s most exciting and high-profile clients. We won their Global Motorsports Sponsorship contract in 2023 and since then have been working closely with their race partner in Formula 1, Oracle Red Bull Racing, to others in WEC, WRC, Porsche Cup and MotoGP to enhance the understanding of their role within the sports teams they sponsor. With the remit broadening beyond motorsports into Global Consumer, there’s plenty of exciting opportunities to be involved in the roll out of a new global brand platform.
THE ROLE
We are looking for an accomplished and ambitious Account Manager to join the team to work across Global Motorsports (50%) and Global Consumer (50%), supporting our London and NY agencies and working closely with other partner agencies. You’ll need to be forward-thinking and proactive as we introduce an all-new model for the Client and look to establish a new way of working alongside our clients and agency stakeholders in the Americas.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support, in a proactive manner, the agency’s high-profile clients.
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact for assigned clients; escalate, track and solve client issues.
- Work alongside Account Director and Business Director to develop and maintain strong active relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Support the global coordination of Consumer and Motorsports project initiatives with the global partner agencies.
- Support on a range of projects, including production shoots.
- Independently run small/medium-sized projects such as social shoots and toolkits.
- Identify opportunities for optimisation and work with the Account Director to implement.
- Build and develop your creative and strategic skills, taking an active role in developing campaigns.
- Financial management – take ownership of finance trackers and billings, ensuring all finances are up to date and that the agency and suppliers are paid according to approved estimates and plans.
- Foster an environment within the team that leads to the development of outstanding creative.
- Keep the team posted on any relevant commercial and cultural updates that could help us improve our creative product.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Proven experience within client service environment – advertising/marketing or communications background
- Passion for advertising, marketing and the transformative effects of great creative on organisations and brands
- Proven experience, knowledge and understanding of the full media landscape, both online and offline (eg. all channels including social, search, programmatic, job boards, audio, OOH)
- Good knowledge of all media channels
- Presentation skills – both creation and delivery
- Good creative and strategic judgment
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- A desire to be part of a small, hierarchy-free agency that values collaboration and those who champion new ways of working
- A love of motorsports would be great
