The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

We are looking for an inquisitive and creative UX Designer to join our Digital Team. You love to experiment with digital technologies, software and visual design to demonstrate the vision and functionality of proposed concepts.

Embedded into the digital team and reporting to our experiential director, you will be brought to weave UX narratives from digital to physical. The role will span across museum interactives, 3D virtual twins and more.

You will be working alongside our creative teams to craft multidisciplinary user-centric experiences and transform creative ideas into experiential narratives. The ideal candidate will have a laser sharp eye for details, be fluent in industry standard design tools and ideally master one or more design tools such as 3D rendering, code, stable diffusion, 3D printing, audio etc.

Main responsibilities

  • Conceptualise and design UX for spatial and screen projects in-keeping with the visual identity
  • Creation of wireframes, prototypes and mood boards
  • Figma prototyping
  • Create presentation decks to communicate concepts with both project teams and clients
  • Designing UI for a range of different types of projects
  • Supporting the production teams with asset preparation
  • Collaborate with different productions teams and freelancers to create seamless UI
  • Sharing expertise during project planning & execution to shape approach and timelines
  • Sharing expertise with the wider creative and technical teams helping them learn about UX approach and considerations, presenting in progress and completed work to staff

Skills & Experience

Required

  • 2+ years experience within a creative studio environment
  • Thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies
  • Figma
  • Experience in designing physical interactives
  • Experience in UX design for museums
  • Experience, affinity with architectural projects
  • Experience in 3D interactive UX design
  • Experience with game UX design

Salary Pay Range

Hours

This is a full-time position. Our working hours are 9:30am – 6:00pm (Monday through Friday, with one hour for lunch). We currently have a hybrid approach to working with a mixture of in-house and remote days.
