Backed by some of the most well-known investors in tech, we’ve reached millions of people to support them throughout their financial lives, from their first paycheck to their first home and beyond. We’re hitting headlines too. This year, Forbes named us as one of their Next Billion Dollar Startups, and we were crowned the ‘Hottest Tech Scaleup’ at the Europas.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own Cleo’s pricing strategy, focusing on optimising user lifetime value (LTV) through tailored pricing, effective incentives, and scalable subscription models. This role will drive the development and implementation of pricing and discounting strategies to support Cleo’s growth objectives and user value delivery.

You will work across three main areas:

Incentives Management : Defining and testing incentive frameworks to drive user acquisition, retention, and monetisation.

Pricing Optimisation : Crafting dynamic pricing models tailored to user segments based on dimensions.

Tooling and Infrastructure : Building scalable pricing tools and systems to enable ongoing optimisation and alignment with Cleo’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Define and implement pricing strategies for diverse user segments, balancing freemium and subscription models to optimise value delivery and capture.
  2. Develop and test incentive structures that maximise user lifetime value and drive meaningful impact.
  3. Conduct hypothesis-driven experiments to identify optimal pricing and discounting models.
  4. Build and scale pricing tools for broader organisational use, transitioning from scrappy testing to a systematic approach.
  5. Collaborate with commercial, engineering, and analytics teams to align on revenue strategies and pricing guardrails.
  6. Work closely with teams launching new products to integrate pricing strategies alongside product-market fit.
  7. Ensure smooth integration of pricing initiatives into the broader user experience and subscription ecosystem.
  8. Develop scalable infrastructure for pricing and incentives to support Cleo’s growth trajectory.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. Proven experience in pricing strategy, ideally within subscription-based products.
  2. Strong background in growth and activation frameworks, with a focus on dynamic segmentation and user lifecycle monetisation.
  3. Track record of leading cross-company initiatives, demonstrating excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Skills:

  • Highly analytical with the ability to synthesise insights from data to drive decisions.
  • Strong systems thinker, adept at balancing short-term experiments with long-term scalability.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments, with a focus on delivering outcomes.

How long will the process take?

We aim to move as fast as possible. Usually 2-3 weeks is enough time for us all to get to know each other.

  1. Step 1: Call with a member of our Talent Team to find out more about your experience and why you want to work at Cleo.
  2. Step 2: 45-60 minutes interview with our Head of Growth Product.
  3. Step 3: Live product sense interview, to be presented to two members of our Product and Growth teams.
  4. Step 4: 45 minutes each with two cross-functional peers from Engineering, Design, Data Science, Commercial or Analytics.
