About the Role

We seek skilled native speakers with strong linguistic intuition and cultural expertise to join our team of Language Analysts. You will conduct structured interviews within the Language Analysis for Determination of Origin (LADO) process, guided by experienced linguists. Your insights will be vital in ensuring accurate and fair country-of-origin assessments. This flexible, impactful role is ideal for linguists, translators, interpreters, academics, or cultural specialists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct remote, recorded interviews with individuals undergoing LADO assessment.
  • Produce clear, concise, and accurate reports on linguistic observations.
  • Collaborate with senior linguists and adhere to established LADO protocols.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality, professionalism, and impartiality at all times.

Essential Requirements

  • Native-level proficiency in one or more target languages and dialects.
  • In-depth knowledge of regional speech varieties, cultural nuances, and language use.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to conduct sensitive interviews.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Must be willing to go through a CTC clearance.
