About the Opportunity
We are looking for passionate and experienced Sustainability & ESG professionals to join our pool of associate trainers to deliver our flagship corporate programme. This introductory programme equips business professionals with a practical understanding of sustainability, Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) principles, and how organisations can begin their sustainability journey. We are seeking trainers who can simplify ESG concepts into engaging, practical learning experiences using real-world examples and interactive discussions.
The trainer will deliver an 8-hour programme covering:
- Understanding sustainability and why ESG matters to businesses
- Global and local sustainability trends and stakeholder expectations
- ESG concepts, standards and reporting frameworks
- Corporate responsibilities and practical ESG implementation
- Carbon measurement, tracking and monitoring fundamentals
- Business case studies and best practices
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging instructor-led training programmes.
- Facilitate discussions, group activities and case study exercises.
- Explain sustainability and ESG concepts in a practical and business-focused manner.
- Share relevant industry experiences and best practices.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with:
- At least 5 years of industry experience in Sustainability, ESG, Environmental Management, Corporate Sustainability, CSR, Climate Risk, Carbon Management or related fields.
- Experience implementing or advising organisations on sustainability initiatives.
- Previous corporate training, facilitation or lecturing experience is highly preferred.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to engage professionals from different industries and management levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Recognised sustainability qualifications (e.g. GRI, ISSB, SASB, TCFD, Carbon Management, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, etc.)
- Experience conducting SkillsFuture-funded or WSQ programmes
- Consulting or in-house ESG implementation experience
