As part of our continued growth, we are looking to appoint a Graduate Applications Engineer to support the commercial and engineering teams in developing technical solutions for customer requirements.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering and commercial delivery, supporting the creation of bespoke technically robust proposals and system architectures.

Experience Required:This is primarily an internal engineering role with commercial exposure, rather than a traditional sales position.
What we are looking for:- We are seeking a Graduate Engineer who has a sandwich year in industry and is looking for more of a sales/hybrid based role.
- You will be expected to graduate from university with a degree in an Electrical Engineering related course.
- Due to the nature of the projects, applicants must be eligible to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. (TBG cover associated costs).

As a Graduate Applications Engineer, you will support the development of technical solutions and proposals in response to customer requirements and RFQs. You’ll work closely with sales, engineering and customers to translate technical requirements into practical system architectures, cost models and proposals.
Typical responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing customer RFQs and technical specifications.
- Developing concept architectures for bespoke automated test systems.
- Supporting technical proposal development.
- Producing cost estimates for materials, labour and system components.
- Liaising with suppliers and technology partners.
- Supporting the commercial team with technical input during customer discussions.
- Assisting with concept presentations and requirement clarification.
