Main Purpose of Job
Specialising in auto electrics within a busy engineering environment. You will have responsibility for the installation of wiring looms for a range of vehicles including minibuses, taxi and bespoke vehicle conversions.

Role Responsibilities
- Carry out bespoke vehicle conversions to include a range of auto-electric tasks which may include:
- Aux lighting and light bars
- Parking sensors and reversing cameras
- Tow bar electrics including smart box
- 12/24V inverter systems
- Read and follow wiring diagrams
- Work with due care and attention not to cause any damage to the vehicle or components
- Responsibility for good housekeeping in the workshop and work areas
- Completes all required administration and paperwork required to reflect any work carried out
- Ensure that all hours and materials are recorded and used correctly
- Complies with all Health and Safety legislation to ensure safety and well being of self, colleagues, customers and visitors
- Check and verify that all work has been correctly completed and to customer satisfaction
- Follow safe working practices
- Complies with all Company systems, processes and procedures
Skills and Competencies:
- Hold or be working towards a relevant Electrical qualification
- Ability to pay attention to detail through a logical work approach
- Work independently in a busy, active environment with little supervision and direction
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate
- Learn continually about product and technical information
- Full Drivers Licence is mandatory for the role
- Ability to use the most appropriate tools and machinery applicable to work carried out.
