An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as Business Development Support. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Business Development and Bid functions by providing administrative support across a range of sales and business development activities.

Working closely with the members of the team, this role will support the identification of new business opportunities by monitoring shared inboxes, logging new opportunities onto the CRM system and proactively following up with clients to obtain updates.

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Chorley (Office based)

Salary: £27,000 a year

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor shared inboxes for new business opportunities and incoming enquiries
  • Upload and accurately log new enquiries into the CRM system
  • Assist in the process of obtaining feedback on submitted bids
  • Maintain and update CRM records to ensure opportunity stages, client details, and notes are accurate and up to date
  • Support the Business Development and Bid Admin teams with general administration relating to enquiries and opportunities
  • Handle incoming reception and sales enquiries (shared responsibility across the team)

Knowledge:

Previous experience providing administrative and/or business development support, with proven ability to communicate effectively via telephone and email. Experience with using Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of using a CRM system would be advantageous.
