We are a leading Japanese food company bringing authentic, high-quality Japanese products to the UK and rest of the European markets. We’re looking for a Key Account Manager to grow our major UK grocery retail accounts, delivering profitable revenue growth. This is a unique role where cultural awareness, food passion, and commercial skills are equally valued.
What You’ll Do
- Own and grow relationships with key UK grocery retailers
- Lead Joint Business Plans, delivering revenue, margin, distribution, and rate-of-sale targets
- Drive range expansion, new product sell-in, and promotional activity
- Use data to identify issues and opportunities and to inform decisions
- Act as the commercial voice of the customer internally
Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience managing UK grocery multiples or equivalent key account management experience
- Proven commercial and negotiation skills, with experience driving profitable growth
- Passionate about food, eager to learn Japanese cuisine, and appreciate the quality of Japanese food
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently with incomplete information
- Comfortable in Japanese corporate culture, respectful, can-do mindset, attention to details, and collaborative
- Flexible and adaptable, thriving in a less structured and entrepreneurial environment
