A huge part of our success stems from the continued development of our broad product portfolio and we now have an opportunity to join us at the heart of our business as Senior NPD Manager at our flagship site in Corby – which has the broadest range of snack technologies in a single factory in the country!
The NPD team play a pivotal role in the success of our business, whether that be developing new products, improving flavours or creating more sustainable or eye-catching packaging. As Senior NPD Manager, you will lead our NPD team at Corby. Reporting to the Group Head of NPD you’ll be the primary contact for all NPD activity on site as well as taking personal responsibility for all NPD for key retailers’ private label activity as well as our flagship Golden Wonder brand.
- Identify NPD opportunities, respond to customer NPD briefs and present these to major retailer customers and internal brand owners.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure NPD meets retailer and legislative requirements as well as Tayto Group procedures.
- Carry out process evaluations, ingredient changes, flavour enhancements and packaging changes for new and existing products.
- Deliver all NPD to specification, cost and time within the Product Change (Stage/Gate) Process.
- Assess new competitor product developments and innovative new products including benchmarking.

Previous experience working in partnership with brand managers and retailer product developers and technologists.
Demonstrable experience of working within a fast-paced product development team in a food environment.
Experience of leading a small team of NPD developers and technologists.
Previous experience of working within a medium to large scale branded or own label factory environment would be advantageous.
Ideally a food related degree or qualification.
This role will be full time, operating Monday – Friday 08:45 – 17:00 from our site at Corby. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK’s largest snack manufacturers and be a part of some of the most exciting projects to date! We’ll provide you with all the tools to learn, develop the role and yourself and will support with additional training needs where required.
