About the role:
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and results-driven Wholesale National Account Manager to join our team! As our new NAM, you will be responsible for managing and developing key National wholesale accounts across the country, driving sales growth, and fostering long-term partnerships with our customers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Hold full P&L responsibility for key national accounts, ensuring profitable growth and alignment with company objectives.
- Manage and grow a diverse brand portfolio in line with overarching sales and brand strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, while proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences to inform strategic decisions and drive product innovation.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely fulfilment of client orders.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, market developments, and account status to inform continuous improvement.
- Excel under pressure with strong communication, strategic thinking, and multi-account management capabilities in a fast-paced wholesale environment.
A little about you:
- Proven experience in a Wholesale National Account Manager (NAM) role within the crisps/snacking or FMCG industry.
- Strong background managing key wholesale accounts, including Bestway and major wholesale buying groups.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Analytically minded, with the ability to interpret sales and market data to generate actionable insights and strategic decisions.
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally to meet customers and attend key business meetings.
- Possess a full, clean UK driving license.
This role will operate from Monday – Friday, core hours and will be fully remote. You will be required to travel to customers as well as to our head office in Corby on occasion.
