Group Sustainability & Environment Manager in Corby

We're looking for a passionate and driven Group Sustainability & Environment Manager to join our team and play a key role in helping us deliver our sustainability ambitions across the Group. A flavour of the role:

Working closely with teams across our sites and functions, you'll lead the development and delivery of our sustainability and environmental strategy, helping us reduce our environmental impact while ensuring we meet the expectations of our customers, colleagues and stakeholders.

You’ll combine strategic thinking with practical delivery, building strong relationships across the business and inspiring others to embrace more sustainable ways of working.

• Develop and drive our sustainability and environmental strategy across the Group.
• Lead initiatives that improve our performance in areas such as carbon reduction, energy, water, waste and sustainable packaging.
• Support the business in understanding and meeting environmental legislation and compliance requirements.
• Build trusted sustainability reporting and data systems that help us measure and track our progress.
• Partner with customers, suppliers and external organisations to strengthen our sustainability credentials and performance.
• Support environmental audits, continuous improvement initiatives and the future development of an ISO 14001-aligned management system.
• Promote a positive sustainability culture, empowering colleagues at every level to play their part in making a difference.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about sustainability and excited by the opportunity to influence positive change.

You may be the right fit if you:

• Have experience leading environmental or sustainability programmes within manufacturing, FMCG, food production or a similar environment.
• Understand environmental legislation, sustainability reporting and emerging environmental challenges.
• Enjoy working with data and turning insight into meaningful action.
• Are confident building relationships and engaging with people at all levels, from operational teams through to senior leaders.
• Bring energy, curiosity and a collaborative approach to your work.
• Want to make a genuine impact and help drive a more sustainable future.
