About the role: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Food on the Go Business Development Manager to join our committed and long serving team. This is a key trading role within the Food on the Go channel, designed to maximise the growth of our brands in the foodservice channel.
What you’ll be doing:
- You will focus on developing and managing a new business pipeline in order to grow distribution of our brands via a range of routes to market in the foodservice channel.
- The role will have some account management responsibility in looking after a number of key end users and distribution partners.
- Continue to strengthen key customer relationships by utilising appropriate industry/customer events.
- As a proactive go-getter you will utilise your experience to get branded listings in regional and national accounts.
- You will be an expert relationship builder both with external and internal stakeholders including Account Managers and Marketing in order to maximise opportunities.
- Strong commercial acumen to enable efficient tenders for contracts and to manage P&L's.
This is a home-based role with the successful candidate being expected to be with customers across the UK 3 to 4 days per week and 1 - 2 days either from home or our Head Office in Corby, Northamptonshire. Executing the channel strategy, marketing and NPD activation within the customer base.
A little about you:
- Demonstrable experience in a Business Development Manager role within the crisp/snacking/FMCG industry.
- Ideally you will be based in Central England as will be required to travel nationally to customers spanning the UK.
- Demonstrable experience of generating leads and building customer relationships.
This role will operate from Monday – Friday, core hours and will be fully remote. You will be required to travel to customers as well as to our head office in Corby on occasion.
