We are seeking a Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in leading our kitchen team and delivering high standards of food quality and service. In the absence of the Head Chef, you will take responsibility for the smooth day‑to‑day running of the kitchen, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and culinary excellence.

This is a hands‑on role where you will prepare and present high‑quality dishes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning while following recipes and dietary requirements. You will support menu development across our restaurants, events, and banqueting, contributing fresh, seasonal ideas alongside the Head Chef. You will lead, motivate, and develop the kitchen brigade, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment. This includes training team members, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety, and ensuring all kitchen operations run efficiently. You will also engage professionally with guests, responding to feedback and accommodating dietary needs.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, strong leadership skills, and a genuine passion for food. You should be organised, detail‑focused, and able to perform under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.

Moness Resort, located in Aberfeldy, offers accommodation, dining, leisure, and spa facilities set within thirty‑five acres of Highland scenery, making it a popular destination for both guests and events. This role does not qualify for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa requirements and eligibility criteria. Only applicants with the right to work in mainland UK can be considered. We cannot consider applicants who require sponsorship.

We offer a competitive salary as an Accredited Living Wage Employer, along with a supportive team environment, opportunities for career development, free access to leisure facilities, staff discounts, free on‑site parking, paid breaks, and uniform.
