The Guest Experience Coordinator - Field Sports

The Guest Experience Coordinator - Field Sports is one of the most important roles within the Glenlyon Estate. The overall feel of the Club, and to each person’s time on property is down to your organisational skills, creativity and quick thinking. The thoughtful handling of the varied aspects of the members’ experience is vital in this role. Coordinate a wide variety of high-quality sporting experiences that are well-managed and offer our guests an authentic experience in an unforgettable natural setting.

This role supports a framework adding surprises and unique events for our guests; you work closely with each department to drive experience-driven operations with creative handling; and develop genuine relationships with prospective members, members and their families. We believe in having fun while creating memorable moments for our guests at their ‘home from home’. We make sure each visit is special and unique.

Using your experience in field sports and your enthusiasm you lead and deliver outstanding sporting and hospitality experiences for our members and their guests. Confident communication and coordination, you deliver both safe and enjoyable experiences which are in line with best practice and the traditions of the Glenlyon Estate.

The role involves a direct mix of coordination and guest liaison, instruction and estate hosting. Delivering safe and enjoyable experiences. As the main point of contact you welcome guests to the estate and ensure of their comfort and safety throughout the stay and during sporting events. Deliver professional, safe, and engaging activities for guests of varying skill levels. Taking the lead in warm-up sessions ahead of the planned events and always ensuring the safety of everyone involved.

You are all about the detail, any special touches, paying extra attention to small elements and the overall vibe and cohesiveness of the experience. Develop a deep understanding and appreciation of the local area and Scotland. Using those for inspiration and the creation of customised experiences, events, and excursions.

You uphold our exceptional standards while demonstrating passion and flare in the pursuit of service excellence. Be actively involved in day‑to‑day operations through observance and collaborating proactively with all team members across our wide range of facilities. People are our priority. Be creative by redefining, creating, and planning bespoke experiences for people who like to do things differently, all that makes unforgettable experiences and redefines what service can be.

Each day is different and you can be based at various locations throughout the estate. You will need good physical fitness and stamina to perform tasks requiring heavy lifting and physical exertion as well as working in challenging terrain in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, and wind.

Passionate with previous experience in field sports and event hosting; in either a member and or guest facing role. Excellent organisational skills, prioritising and effective time management. You will be a natural organiser with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

A high standard of personal presentation and attention to detail with exemplary time management. Excellent communication, with a natural ability to build rapport and strong relationships creating an enjoyable place to work. Understand the need to be agile and adapt accordingly to suit the profile of the business, including the ability to adjust working days and hours of work to meet business needs, as and when required.
