Taymouth Castle Golf and Sport Club Security Officers are part of a highly professional security team that protects guests, members and colleagues. Combine a concierge security approach with day‑night patrols, incident dispatch, threat assessment and medical response, ensuring safety across our premier golf and sporting community.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all members, guests and staff.
  • Dispatch and coordinate responses to medical, fire, burglary, intruder and duress incidents on club premises and at club events.
  • Assess and report potential threats, escalating as necessary to club management and security personnel.
  • Provide seamless entry control, preventing unauthorized access and assisting after‑hours access requests.
  • Record all incidents with detailed written reports, including documentation, images and other evidence.
  • Perform foot and mobile patrols, operating outdoors in all weather conditions and completing full physical tasks required by the role.
  • Collaborate with Club Management, Facilities, Maintenance, Medical and other teams during incidents or events.
  • Maintain a personal concierge security approach and uphold the club’s high standards and culture.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience of at least three full‑time years in a security, law‑enforcement or military function.
  • FREC 3 training preferred; equivalent experience acceptable.
  • Valid SIA licence and a clean UK driving licence.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and mobile applications for task reporting.
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work day, night and weekend shifts and perform physical tasks in all weather conditions.
