We are seeking a Seasonal Outdoor Pursuits Attendant to support our team throughout a busy and exciting season. The role will involve coordinating a range of activities such as mountain biking, archery, axe throwing, hiking, canoeing, stand‑up paddleboarding (SUP), bushcraft and more, ensuring all activities are safely prepared, equipment is maintained, and guests enjoy engaging, memorable experiences.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of outdoor pursuits across a variety of locations on the estate.
- Prepare and maintain equipment, ensuring all items meet safety and quality standards.
- Tailor activities to guest preferences, abilities and fitness levels, providing recommendations and guidance.
- Collaborate closely with instructors, guides and other departments (member services, food & beverage, residential services) to coordinate itineraries and special requests.
- Maintain high safety standards, including environmental stewardship, and respond to incidents using required first‑aid qualifications.
- Uphold the club’s commitment to exceptional customer service, building positive relationships with guests and colleagues.
- Perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and navigating challenging terrain in various weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in outdoor pursuits and event hosting.
- Valid CWPS certification and a current two‑day Emergency Outdoor First Aid qualification.
- Excellent organisational, time‑management and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs, including flexible working days and hours.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for local history, natural landscapes and environmental stewardship.
