Role Summary

Our Housekeeping Assistants at Moness Resort are a very friendly bunch and can always be seen throughout the resort moving between the guest cottages and the hotel rooms. They are crucial in maintaining the upkeep of the resort and the ambitious standards of cleanliness we all enjoy. We are a 7-day 24-hour operation so there is no set start time, that’s up to you. Our team are vital in ensuring that guests have a memorable experience from the moment they arrive until their departure.

Role Responsibilities

This exciting role provides a warm, friendly, professional, and efficient service to all our guests. If you have a natural ability to work well within a team and can stay composed under pressure ensuring our ambitious standards are maintained, then this could be the role for you. With fantastic diligence, the housekeeping team ensures each area of the resort; our hotel rooms and cottages are kept immaculately clean and well presented. The guest areas in our front of house, reception areas are all kept fresh, clean, and tidy.

  • Restocking and replenishing bathrooms, refreshing bedrooms and cottages and guest areas.
  • Vacuuming floors, corridors, and stairs.
  • Coordinating the delivery of fresh linen and towels.
  • Pick-up and collection of dirty linen and rubbish.
  • Cleaning all surfaces and floors, showers, baths, basins, toilets, kitchens, windows, and garden furniture.

Role Competencies

We have a variety of working hours available at various times throughout the day. Working independently and as part of a team comes naturally to you. Ability to work under pressure to juggle competing priorities with minimum supervision. You are calm, confident, and discreet, taking huge pride in your presentation. Exemplary time management with a vision for quality and excellence. Previous experience of working within a fast-paced environment where teamwork and collaboration have been the key would be ideal.

Moness Resort is in the small market town of Aberfeldy. Set in thirty-five acres of ground and situated amidst stunning Highland scenery, the resort offers a range of accommodations, including well equipped family friendly self-catering cottages and hotel rooms. Within the main house there are restaurants and bars and an outdoor terrace. Leisure facilities include a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and hot tub. A Spa offering treatments from manicures to full body massages using ISHGA products. A popular destination for weddings and gatherings, all held within our recently renovated marquee, adjacent to the main building and where we tailor special occasion or celebration banquet dining. We offer our guests a relaxing retreat to unwind amongst breathtaking surroundings while enjoying a wide range of amenities and activities.

This role does not qualify for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa requirements and eligibility criteria. Only applicants with the right to work in mainland UK can be considered. We cannot consider applicants who require sponsorship.
