Role Summary
The role of Housekeeping Assistant is crucial in maintaining the high standards across our resort, from our cottages and hotel bedrooms to our front-of-house guest areas and back-of-house staff facilities. Our Housekeeping team plays a vital role in ensuring the ambitious standards of cleanliness we all enjoy, are achieved every day.
As part of our close-knit team, you’ll GUIDE THE WAY by working collaboratively with your colleagues to deliver exceptional experiences for every guest. You’ll take pride in exceeding guest expectations, whether they’re staying overnight in one of our hotel rooms or enjoying a few days in one of our self-catering lodges.

Role Responsibilities
You provide a warm, friendly, professional, and efficient service and have a natural ability to work well within a team and can stay composed under pressure ensuring our ambitious standards are maintained.
With fantastic attention to detail, the housekeeping team DELIVER RESULTS and ensure each area of the resort is kept immaculately clean and well-presented from our hotel rooms and self-catering cottages to the guest areas in our front of house, reception, all kept fresh, clean, and tidy. Change linen and ensure all used linen is presented to the linen porter to transport to the laundry; replenish linen and guest supplies.
Consult with other departments to ensure a seamless stay for our guests. When required assist with duties in our onsite laundry and support with cleaning duties in each area of the resort. Undertake deep cleans as directed by the Housekeeping Manager.
Maintain a friendly approach with guests whilst respecting their privacy during their stay. Respond to any guest requests and feedback efficiently. Ensure the security of guest accommodation and their belongings during the execution of your duties.
Approach all that we do with SIMPLICITY providing guests with any requested items quickly and efficiently. Provide guidance, support and motivation to assist junior team members. Encourage a positive and efficient work environment while ensuring teamwork and consistent high standards. Ensure guests are satisfied throughout their stay, attending to any additional needs.
Role Competencies
Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided. Previous experience in a hotel or Restaurant, together with good people skills would be an advantage; where teamwork and collaboration have been the key would be ideal. BE YOURSELF driving genuine, honest interactions, creating a culture of warmth and inclusivity.
Working independently and as part of a team comes naturally to you. Ability to work under pressure to juggle competing priorities with minimum supervision. You are calm, confident, and discreet, taking huge pride in your presentation. Exemplary time management with a vision for quality and excellence.
About Moness
Moness Resortis in the small market town of Aberfeldy. Set in thirty-five acres of ground and situated amidst stunning Highland scenery, the resort offers a range of accommodations, including well equipped family friendly self-catering cottages and hotel rooms. This role does not qualify for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa requirements and eligibility criteria. Only applicants with the right to work in mainland UK can be considered. We cannot consider applicants who require sponsorship.
