The primary task is to maintain our incredible facilities, keeping them clean and tidy, ensuring that the exceptional standards associated with our club are upheld. The Residential Services Department is spread across the whole estate, working and collaborating with colleagues throughout the various areas of the club. We believe in having fun and creating memorable moments for our members and visiting guests at their ‘home from home’, making sure each visit is unique.
As part of this dedicated team, you take huge pride in ensuring the cleanliness, presentation, and overall maintenance of our back of house areas, including the welcome gates, offices, staff restaurant, colleague bathrooms, and our recently refurbished village toilet facilities; all refreshed daily. Maintaining our colleague areas of the castle too with the same standard of care and attention as our guest spaces, all done with warmth and care.
Keeping our incredible facilities clean and tidy requires a one team approach. People are our priority, and this role requires someone who is organised, takes pride in a job well done, and gains genuine enjoyment from making others happy. Working to maintain the most luxurious of surroundings in our beautifully renovated 19th century castle.

- Ensuring the sanitation, cleanliness, and hygiene of your assigned area is achieved.
- The daily servicing of the welcome gates and security office, the compound offices housing business support teams; colleague spaces including the staff canteen, their bathrooms, and changing facilities.
- The daily planning and preparing of our equipment, cleaning products, supplies, and the linen that will be required for every home on both the departure and service days.
- Coordinating with the Housekeeping Attendants to arrange the appropriate delivery and collection times of linen and rubbish from each home across the estate.
- Collecting soiled linen; preparing and delivering the items to our laundry.
- Assisting with keeping our incredible sport, spa, and leisure facilities immaculately clean and refreshed and maintaining our state-of-the-art gym and fitness equipment.
- Supporting the management team with the deep cleaning of an area within the operation as and when required and as directed.
- Upholding our exceptional standards while demonstrating passion and flair in the pursuit of service excellence.
- Actively involved in the day-to-day operation through observance, collaborating proactively with team members across our wide range of facilities.
- Contributing at departmental and wider business meetings where necessary.
This role can involve long periods of standing, walking, and bending. Although much of your time will be spent indoors, some time may be spent outdoors.
