The main purpose of the Housekeeping Driver role is to assist with the safe collection, transportation and storage of both clean and dirty linen. This includes the removal of rubbish from the self-catering lodges and hotel rooms, ensuring that the linen is separated and counted, and that fresh linen and laundry items are safely transported across the resort.
Working closely with the Housekeeping Assistants, you will ensure they have the necessary supplies. As part of a close-knit team, you will lead by example and work collaboratively with fellow team members to deliver exceptional experiences for every guest. You strive to exceed guest expectations whether it’s an overnight stay in one of our hotel rooms or for a few days enjoying one of our self-catering lodges.
As a key member of our team, this exciting housekeeping role provides a warm, friendly, professional, and efficient service for all our guests. The Housekeeping Driver ensures the team has all the cleaning supplies needed and the correct amount of fresh linen on both refresh days and check-out days to keep each area of the resort immaculately clean and well-presented.
You will ensure linen is distributed throughout the resort with the required number of supplies for restocking and replenishing bathrooms, refreshing bedrooms and cottages, and guest areas; making sure everything is in its place and our ambitious standards are maintained. You will assist in the movement of furniture, beds, and cots, re-hanging curtains, and performing minor maintenance duties in preparation for our guests’ arrival, ensuring the rooms are ready for check-in.
Approach all that we do with simplicity, providing guests with any requested items quickly and efficiently. Provide guidance, support, and motivation to assist junior team members. Encourage a positive and efficient work environment while ensuring teamwork and consistent high standards. Ensure guests are satisfied throughout their stay, attending to any additional needs.
You will use the resort's electric vehicle throughout your day and will be responsible for checking daily and maintaining the vehicle, ensuring it is placed on charge correctly each afternoon. Actively involved in the day-to-day operations, you will collaborate proactively with team members across our wide range of facilities, accepting and taking responsibility to deliver results.
With fantastic attention to detail, the housekeeping team ensures each area of the resort is kept immaculately clean and well-presented. Full UK driving license is required as you will be driving electric vehicles throughout the resort. Working independently and as part of a team comes naturally to you, and you can work under pressure to juggle competing priorities with minimum supervision.
You are calm, confident, and discreet, taking pride in your presentation. Exemplary time management with a vision for quality and excellence is essential. Previous experience in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and collaboration have been key would be ideal.
