Playing an important and vital role within the Taymouth Castle Estate, the Back of House Cleaner acts as a custodian in supporting our back of house operations to ensure they are maintained to the same level as our front of house. This role involves working with the Housekeeping Manager and Project Coordinator in the daily running of the Castle site compound and offices, including the area around the security gates.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that the offices, canteen, and medical centre are clean, well-stocked, and presented to the standard associated with the club.
- Vacuuming and mopping floors, sanitising surfaces, and keeping windows clean and clear of dust.
- Filling the dishwasher and ensuring there is adequate clean crockery and cutlery for the team; regularly cleaning and sanitising fridges and microwaves.
- Conducting twice daily checks of toilets to ensure they are clean, maintained, and well-stocked.
- Emptying and removing rubbish bags and disposing of them in the correct recycling area.
- Daily deep cleaning of the medical facility, paying particular attention to high touch points.
- Maintaining appropriate stock levels and highlighting when items are running low, reporting any maintenance issues to the project manager on site.
Diligence is key, making sure colleagues are kept updated and that all communications are clear. Keeping our incredible facilities clean and tidy requires a one-team approach. This is a varied and exciting role.
