Playing an important and vital role within the Taymouth Castle Estate. The Back of House Attendant is a hugely varied and diverse role acting as a custodian in supporting our back of house operations so they are maintained to the same level as our front of house to ensure our team can perform their daily duties.
Working with the Housekeeping Manager and Project Coordinator in the daily running of the Castle site compound and offices together with the area around the security gates. Ensuring that the offices, canteen, and medical centre are clean, well-stocked and presented to the standard associated with the club.
Part of a close-knit team, the Residential Services Department is spread across the whole estate working and collaborating with colleagues throughout the various areas of the club to create memorable moments for our members and visiting guests at their ‘home from home’ making sure each visit is unique.
As part of this dedicated and hands-on team you will play a key role in ensuring all the back of house areas are kept clean, tidy, and organised. Floors vacuumed and mopped, surfaces sanitised, and windows kept clean and clear of dust. Making sure the dishwasher is filled and there is adequate clean crockery and cutlery for our team; fridges and microwaves are cleaned and sanitised regularly. Twice daily checks of our toilets to ensure they are clean, maintained and well stocked. Emptying and removing rubbish bags and making sure they are disposed of in the correct recycling area. Daily deep cleaning of the medical facility paying particular attention to high touch points. Maintaining appropriate stock levels and highlighting when items are running low and reporting any maintenance issues to the project manager on site.
Diligence is the key making sure colleagues are kept updated and that all communications are clear. Keeping our incredible facilities clean and tidy requires a one-team approach. This is a varied and exciting role.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, warm and friendly and enjoys being part of a team with a ‘can-do’ approach. Is open to seeking advice and support when needed with a desire to play a part in ensuring our members; their families and friends have memorable stays time and time again. Previous luxury sector experience is not essential.
We are at the start of a long and fascinating journey and as the club grows, so will you, learning new skills, taking on new roles and responsibilities. This role is not just based in one location and will require travel around some of the facilities within the Club so a valid UK Driving Licence will be essential to fulfil this opportunity.
