Role Overview As Design Manager at Discovery Land Company, you will oversee the day‑to‑day management and coordination of design projects across the portfolio, ensuring high‑quality delivery and client satisfaction.
You will conduct design reviews, manage budgets, coordinate with stakeholders, and lead multidisciplinary teams through the entire project lifecycle.
Responsibilities Lead design teams and coordinate with consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
Oversee design integrity, quality standards and programme adherence.
Review and manage design scopes, budgets and technical documentation, including Auto CAD and Revit drawings.
Conduct design workshops, stage reviews and buildability reviews.
Provide guidance on planning and building regulations.
Present progress to stakeholders and owners.
Ensure compliance with brief, design guidelines and operational requirements.
Qualifications Experience as a Design Manager with strong technical and project coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects from concept to completion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
Full UK driving licence.
Knowledge of Auto CAD and Revit highly desirable.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder coordination and communication skills.
