Quality Manager

Taylors Snacks, a renowned snack manufacturer, is looking for a Quality Manager to lead and manage our site’s food safety, legality, and quality framework. Based in Errol, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced and growing Scottish family business., * Manage and maintain the site’s Food Safety & Quality Management Systems (FSQMS), including HACCP.

• Ensure FSQMS procedures are embedded across all areas of the business and the site remains compliant at all times.

• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and resolving root causes of non-conformances.

• Oversee food safety, legality, authenticity, and integrity issues, escalating when necessary.

• Act as a key representative during external audits (e.g., BRCGS and customer audits), deputising for the Head of Technical when required.

• Ensure all finished products meet agreed specifications and implement corrective actions when standards are not met.

• Lead, guide, and inspire a team of Quality Controllers to meet site goals and objectives.

• Drive continuous improvement of the site standards and quality parameters.

• Liaise with customers and external bodies to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer expectations.

• Experience in food safety and quality management systems (HACCP, BRCGS).

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset.

• Experience handling audits.

• Must have own transport due to location

• 4 day week, 10 hour shift , weekend availability
