Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday; 9:00am – 4:00pm Saturday (currently 1 in 2)

Due to continued growth within the business, we are looking to recruit an Assistant Sales Manager to support the day-to-day running of our busy used car operation at Taylors Select in Skegness (est. 1972).
About the role:
- Support the Dealer Principal in the daily running of the sales department.
- Assist in managing and motivating the sales team to achieve targets.
- Sell used vehicles and deliver an excellent customer experience from enquiry to handover.
- Take responsibility for vehicle presentation, ensuring all stock is photographed to a high standard.
- Manage online listings to ensure vehicles are accurately advertised and up to date across all platforms.
- Maintain the physical forecourt, ensuring it is well-presented, organised, and retail-ready at all times.
- Assist with stock control, pricing, and vehicle merchandising.
- Support with deal structuring, finance proposals, and closing sales when required.
- Work closely with workshop teams to ensure vehicles are prepared and ready on time.
- Ensure all processes are compliant with company standards and FCA regulations.
About you:
- Experienced in used car sales, with a good understanding of stock management and forecourt retailing.
- Ready to take the next step into management or already in a junior leadership role.
- Driven, enthusiastic, and target-focused.
- Organised with strong attention to detail, particularly around vehicle presentation and advertising.
- Confident using IT systems, including dealer management and online sales platforms.
- Hands-on and proactive, leading by example on the sales floor.
- A team player who is keen to support and develop others.
- Previous management or supervisory experience is preferred, but we will consider strong senior sales executives ready to step up.
