Taylors Contracting are currently negotiating an exciting large-scale earthworks project in the renewable energy sector in North Canterbury and are now seeking expressions of interest from professional excavator and multi-skilled operators. This is your opportunity to contribute to a major infrastructure initiative that supports sustainable energy and helps to shape a greener future.
The duration of the project is estimated to be 2 years with a target start date towards the end of this year to maximise the summer earthworks season. These roles are for 2 Year Fixed-Term contracts.
You may be a dedicated excavator expert, or someone who is multi-skilled and can also operate a bulldozer or grader etc. For the right person, we are open to discuss supporting relocation for applicants outside of the Canterbury region. You’ll bring with you:
- Minimum of a class 2 driver’s license with WTR
- Proven work history in bulk earthworks, and civil or forestry operations
- Ability to demonstrate a strong commitment to the Health & Safety of yourself and others
- Commitment to taking ownership and pride in your work and achieving high standards of quality assurance and environmental protection.
- A positive outlook, friendly attitude, and willingness to adapt to the work as and where required
- Preparedness for Saturday work
