Scientist – Molecular Diagnostics\\n\\nLocation – Oxfordshire\\n\\nOur client is a leading provider of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) solutions to support the ongoing development of genetic-based medicine. An opportunity has now become available for an experience NGS scientist to join the company and support with the product development projects within their NGS platforms.\\n\\nThe role:\\n\\nThe successful applicant will be responsible for:\\n\\n * Work on product development projects supporting with the improvement of new diagnostic products to support customer needs.\\n\\n * Offer a solution-lead approach to overcoming technical challenges.\\n\\n * Defining and undertaking experiments to support product development.\\n\\n * Interpretation and analysis of results.\\n\\n * Ensuring compliance and quality standards are maintained.\\n\\nSuitable applicants:\\n\\n * Industry experience in commercial product development with IVD molecular biology products\\n\\n * Proven experience conducting commercial R&D projects, out-lining project scope and deliverables\\n\\n * Educated to PhD or MSc in Genomics/Molecular Biology (or equivalent experience)\\n\\n * Experience working to ISO13485 and ISO 9001\\n\\n * Prior experience with NGS workflows and different sequencing technology\\n\\nSuitable candidates can expect a permanent position with a competitive salary commensurate to experience (plus benefits)
