This fast-growing organisation is expanding quickly across Europe and is now looking for an energetic Sales Representative to take ownership of a thriving Cambridge territory. The company develops and supplies a broad portfolio of innovative reagents, reference materials, and research compounds used across drug discovery, biotech, and academic research. They’ve seen strong growth over the past years and continue to scale, making this a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious individual who wants strong training, progression, and earning potential.

You’ll be the face of the company in the Cambridge area, building relationships with scientists, labs, and research teams while helping them access the products and technical information they need (1-2 days out with customers each week).

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Growing sales across the territory through proactive outreach, relationship building, and regular customer visits
  • Promoting a broad range of life-science reagents and supporting customers with relevant product information
  • Handling incoming enquiries (calls, emails, online chats) with professionalism and accuracy
  • Maintaining a high level of customer care - from the first interaction through to order follow-up and after-sales support
  • Working closely with internal colleagues across business development and marketing
  • Gathering market insights, competitor information, and customer feedback to help shape campaigns and strategy
  • Supporting events, exhibitions, and scientific conferences to raise brand visibility
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and managing your sales pipeline

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys speaking with people, thrives on variety, and likes the idea of mixing science with commercial problem-solving.

  • A degree in life sciences, bioscience, chemistry, biochemistry, or a closely related field is essential
  • Some experience in a commercial, customer-facing, or sales environment (highly preferred)

  • Resilience, motivation, and a positive attitude
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • A personable style, someone who enjoys talking to scientists and isn’t afraid to ask great questions

If you’re open-minded, enthusiastic, and have a bit of ambition about you, you’ll fit right in.

  • Supportive management and a collaborative team culture
