Territory Sales Manager, Analytical & Synthetic Chemistry

A global manufacturer of laboratory equipment is currently seeking a field salesperson to develop sales for their analytical & synthetic chemistry instrumentation range across the North of the UK, selling into research and industrial customer accounts.

Candidates must have a background in chemistry or chemical engineering (experience with microwave digestion , FTIR or Raman Spectroscopy would be highly beneficial)

Key Responsibilities

β€’ Maintaining current business and cultivating fresh accounts by means of prospecting, lead generation, and subsequent engagement.

β€’ Efficiently managing the designated territory, including direct oversight of sales projects and negotiations.

β€’ Assisting in the advancement of customer applications.

β€’ Participating in conferences and exhibitions.

β€’ Aiding in the formulation of marketing communications for customers.

β€’ Delivering sales presentations and demos to demonstrate instrument functionality.

Candidate Requirements

β€’ A degree in chemistry or chemical engineering or equivalent experience

β€’ Previous field-based sales experience selling scientific laboratory equipment

β€’ Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.

β€’ UK Driving licence with the willingness to travel extensively across the North UK region
