Laboratory Instrumentation Supervisor
Location – Bedfordshire
Salary – £35-40,000 (D.O.E.) + bonus
Our client is a leading provider of laboratory instrumentation and is now seeking a Lab supervisor to take responsibility for their demonstration laboratory, including equipment maintenance, calibration and safety compliance.
The Role:
- Ensuring functional operation of the laboratory space and ensuring readiness for demonstration of equipment
- Maintaining and calibration of equipment
- Maintenance of laboratory health and safety documentation, COSHH and risk assessment
- Taking responsibility for laboratory consumables and stock management
The Requirements:
Suitable applicants will have experience with:
- Maintenance of laboratory instrumentation and confidence in equipment calibration
- Prior experience working to laboratory H&S requirements and experience with COSHH assessments
- Comfortable in demonstrating equipment
- Able to problem-solve and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
- Good organisational and communication skills
The Package:
Our client offers a permanent position with a competitive salary of £35,000-£40,000 (based on experience) along with a generous bonus package based on achievement of KPI’s
