Commercial Electrician

Taylored Facilities Management Ltd is a well-established, growing building services and facilities management company operating across the North West.

Due to continued expansion and new contract awards, we are looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Electrician with strong inspection and testing expertise.

This is a key role within our electrical division and will suit a highly competent engineer who takes pride in quality, compliance, and professional standards.

The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out

  • Periodic Inspection & Testing (EICR) in commercial and industrial environments
  • Minor works certification
  • Remedial works following inspection reports
  • Fault finding and diagnostics
  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Reactive maintenance works
  • Accurate job reporting and certification in line with BS 7671 Work will be carried out across commercial properties including offices, retail units, public sector buildings, and managed estates.

Essential

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition (BS 7671)
  • City & Guilds 2391 / 2394 & 2395 (Inspection & Testing)
  • Proven experience in commercial inspection & testing
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong fault-finding capability
  • Ability to work independently and complete detailed certification accurately
  • ESCS Card Desirable 1.

Experience working within FM or managed property environments 2.
