Due to continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join our Belfast office. You will join one of our existing Structural Engineering teams and report to a Structural Engineering Associate.

Location: Belfast

Start Date: Immediate

The Role:

  • Undertake structural engineering design to Eurocodes.
  • Prepare structural engineering drawings and sketches (using Revit/AutoCAD/hand sketching).
  • Prepare technical specifications.
  • Liaise with clients, design team members and contractors.
  • Attend design team meetings and site meetings.
  • Inspect construction work on site.
  • Undertake structural surveys.
  • Help to successfully deliver projects within available timescales and budget.
  • Implement the Practice’s Quality System.
  • Work under the supervision of the Project Engineer and Structural Engineering Associate.
  • Carry out tasks that from time to time may arise suitable to this position.

Hours: This is a full time position. 37.5 hours per week. Hybrid working an option.

Salary: Dependant on qualifications and experience.

Essential Criteria:

  • BEng degree in Structural/Civil Engineering (minimum 2:1).
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in a structural engineering consultancy.
  • Experience/familiarity in structural design to Eurocodes.
  • Experience in Revit and AutoCAD.

Desirable Criteria:

  • MEng degree in Structural/Civil Engineering (minimum 2:1).
  • Experience in the use of our design software; including Tekla Tedds, CADS A3D MAX and SCIA Engineer.
