Our client is seeking a Sundries Manager with the following responsibilities:
- Manage the smooth running of your department.
- Recruit the right people and manage the performance and deployment of staff within your department.
- Identify and manage all issues relating to stock ensuring that it is kept at an appropriate level for the season.
- Ensure the consistency of product, range and price is in line with those set by the buyers.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales in your department and across the centre.
- Contribute to the planning of space and seasonal changes within your department.
- Implement planned changes within your department.
- Ensure display presentation, pricing and signage are attractive to our customers.
- Organise and manage stocktakes, stock turn, markdowns and wastage within your department.
- Contribute to the smooth running of events.
- Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers and encouraging feedback.
- Maintain fixtures, fittings, equipment and materials within your department.
- Authorise and process invoices efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures.
- Act as Duty Manager and key holder for the business.
