Our client is one of the largest landscape businesses in the country, covering commercial landscape projects. We are seeking a variety of personnel:

  • Landscape Supervisors/Team Leaders - able to oversee small teams on hard and soft landscape projects.
  • Grounds Maintenance Operatives - work with the teams on maintaining grounds and gardens within the Northampton area.

Well presented, punctual, good mannered and respectful to all. Vocationally trained, with a high level of experience on site and able to deliver projects to the highest quality consistently and to budget.

Team Player - You will be able to take instruction and discuss any issues clearly.

Skills – You will have the required skill set and experience to deliver soft landscaping or grounds maintenance projects.

Communication - You will communicate clearly and positively with all parties including your team leader and the public, meeting targets and deadlines and ensuring the efficient use of resources. You will also ensure that all personal telephone calls are restricted to lunch and tea breaks except in an emergency.

Materials, Plant and Tools - It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct materials, plant and tools to complete the jobs given to you. All requests will be clearly communicated to your Team Leader, giving as much notice as possible. You will also ensure that the daily maintenance of the vehicles, plant and tools are carried out, and company property is looked after and respected.

Health & Safety - You will be responsible for your own day to day health and safety and of those around you. You will only complete tasks in which you are competent and trained and will ensure that all works are completed in accordance with the company's health and safety policy, risk assessments and method statements. Uniform, safety boots and PPE will be provided.

Quality – You will ensure that all your work is completed to the best possible standard in accordance with any instructions and specifications you have been given and to the satisfaction of the client.

You must have a full driver's licence and CSCS certificate or be prepared to organise one.
