The project includes bridge demolition, earthworks, drainage, infill works, roundabout construction, traffic signal installation, and junction remodelling. We're looking for proactive leaders with strong civil engineering expertise to manage day-to-day site activities and drive safe, efficient delivery. This role offers the opportunity to work on a high-profile scheme while contributing to project planning, programming, and commercial forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations across multiple live projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Support project planning, programming, and delivery strategy alongside the wider team.
- Collaborate with the commercial team on cost estimates, forecasting, and subcontractor management.
- Lead and coordinate all on-site activities, ensuring strict compliance with HSEQ standards.
- Contribute to the ECI process, including buildability reviews and risk assessments.
- Engage with the client, stakeholders, and supply chain to maintain strong working relationships.
- Monitor progress, manage subcontractors, and maintain accurate site records.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on infrastructure, highways, or major civils projects.
- Strong knowledge of earthworks, drainage, and general civil engineering.
- Experience supporting planning and working with commercial teams on cost management.
- Ability to work across multiple sites in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications.
