Taylor Woodrow is a leading civil engineering contractor delivering vital infrastructure projects across the UK. As part of our continued growth, we are looking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join the team in Watford.

The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for dealing with quality assurance and control activities across a number of infrastructure projects. Working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients, you will ensure that quality standards and procedures are consistently implemented and maintained. This role will require somebody who is happy to travel to various sites within the UK up to 2 days per week.

Duties:

  • Quality data gathering/monitoring/reporting – NCR’s etc.
  • Monitoring of Quality Standard & Culture
  • Support development of & delivering Quality Training
  • Support development of quality communications
  • Support Management of Audit Programme
  • Support Quality Audits
  • Interim Quality support as needed
  • Helping with investigations for quality issues

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience in quality management on major infrastructure projects
  • Extensive knowledge of monitoring quality performance across a construction business
  • Formal qualification in a construction or quality management related subject
  • Chartered or working towards chartership with CQI

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full Time - 40 hours - Monday to Friday
