Taylor Woodrow, a leading infrastructure contractor, is seeking a Senior Digital Engineer to join our dynamic team working on the Piccadilly Line Upgrade. Based in Stratford, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to one of London’s most significant infrastructure projects.
About the Role;
As a Senior Digital Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering cutting-edge digital solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and project delivery for the Piccadilly Line Upgrade. You will lead the development and implementation of digital engineering practices, driving innovation and ensuring the successful integration of technology into construction workflow
Key Responsibilities;
- Use ProjectWise Explorer Model to provide
- Construction methodology images
- Plans and Cross sectioins
- Create 3D images to demonstrate construction sequence, plant working radii, exclusion zones, etc
- Integrate P6 Programme to highlight issues and constraints with imposed phased construction migration to end state design
- Update model with as-constructed information, especially in relation to services encountered, decommissioned (but retained in place) services removed, services installed
- Received as-built information from our supply chain and update the model
- Assist document controller to represent visually location and extent or works covered by Quality Inspection checksheets, thus highlighting discrepancies or missing documentation at early stage
Requirements;
- Formal qualification in a construction, architectural or civil engineering related subject
- Proven experience in digital engineering or BIM within the construction or rail sector
- Strong knowledge of BIM standards and digital software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD)
- Experience with Bentley MicroStation SS4 or SS10 and Bentley AECOsimSS6
- Experience with a variety of construction design packages
- Experience with data analysis and the integration of digital solutions into infrastructure projects
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
