We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join Taylor Woodrow on a major embankment stabilisation project located in Sonning, Reading, on the Great Western Main Line. This is a permanent opportunity offering the chance to contribute to a significant infrastructure scheme valued at approximately Β£40 million.
We are looking for a motivated and safety-focused professional to play a key role in the successful delivery of this long-term project, which is expected to run for approximately 3 to 4 years. The successful candidate will work alongside project teams to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise site operations and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate and manage site teams, subcontractors, and resources effectively.
- Monitor project progress against agreed plans and report on performance.
- Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with project specifications.
- Support the delivery of works on time and within budget requirements.
- Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders.
- Promote and uphold a positive safety culture across the site.
- Ensure site activities are carried out in line with relevant procedures and project requirements.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- CSCS Gold Card.
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
- COSS (Controller of Site Safety) ticket.
- Proven experience supervising highways or civil engineering projects.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
