The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the and support in the delivery of a key infrastructure project β a Cycle Route Upgrade Scheme in Crewe.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the commercial management of the project, which is being delivered under an NEC contract.
Duties
- Administer and manage the NEC contract in line with company and client expectations
- Preparation and submission of interim valuations, final accounts, and cost reports
- Assist in the procurement and management of subcontract packages
- Support change management and compensation event processes
- Liaise with the client and project team to provide accurate cost forecasting and risk assessments
- Ensure commercial controls are in place and adhered to
- Prepare monthly reports, including earned value analysis and CVRs
Person Specification
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Proven experience working on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts
- Proficient in cost reporting, forecasting, and subcontract management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
