Project Estimator

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Civils Estimator to join a leading contractor working on a Network Rail framework.

The Lot stretches from London Paddington to Penzance and involves the ongoing maintenance & renewals programme of civil engineering assets such as embankments, cuttings, scour protection, and earthworks drainage.

Manages supply chain enquiries and analyses quotations;
Issues material/equipment buying to Supply Chain colleagues, and analyses quotations;
Ensures pricing aligned to delivery programmes and the methodology and productivity that the planning and engineering teams have agreed;
Prices Tender Risk and Opportunity Schedule;
Prices the Fee % in accordance with the Finance Instructions;
Prepares Risk Committee documentation as required;
Experience in construction and ideally rail
Fully competent with package analysis following initial tender enquiries to ensure no scope gap
