We are currently recruiting for a CCTV Engineer to join our team in Erith, Kent. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the CCTV Engineer will be responsible for providing installation, maintenance and fault finding skills across our portfolio of local authority CCTV contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Install cameras, servers, NVRs, and cabling, often working alongside security or AV teams.
  • Carry out security risk assessments before advising on new equipment.
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on our CCTV networks.
  • Configure IP systems, networking, and software settings.
  • Carrying out site surveys to ensure optimal camera placement and system design for our clients.
  • Maintain accurate records for installations and service visits.

Person Specification

  • Previous experience in the installation and maintenance of CCTV systems.
  • Experience in the configuration and set up of IP Networks.
  • Computer literate in operation plus maintenance & build.
  • ECS would be ideal but CCS would be sufficient.
  • IPAF 1b for operating van mount MEWPs.
  • PASMA (Scaffold Towers), Steps & Ladders training (Working at Height).
  • Plant Competency Card.
  • Full UK driving licence.
