About the Role
Taylor Woodrow are seeking an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to take a new highways scheme in Birmingham / Dudley from pre-construction through to delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering a critical infrastructure project, ensuring commercial success and compliance throughout the lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all commercial aspects of the project, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting.
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and management.
- Ensure accurate valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Provide strategic input on risk management and value engineering.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to maintain financial performance and contractual compliance.
Key Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior or Managing Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial management principles.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
